Welcome to Phil Miller Images
Phil Miller took up painting seriously on his retirement in 2007. Originally attending Watford School of Art, Phil changed career course and switched to Advertising and later moved on to PR and Corporate Communications. Apart from an occasional 'dabble' on holiday he hardly touched a paint brush for 40 years.
Retirement gave him the opportunity to resume Art Classes and, encouraged by his mentor, Tessa Pearson, he has had a number of works accepted for exhibition, most recently at the Patchings International Art Fair.
His photographic experience stems from the fact that he worked for Agfa for the majority of his career switching from analogue to digital photography in 2004. His photographs reflect his consuming interest in the Natural World, particularly birds and animals, and he has travelled widely to pursue this interest.
